It is time to say thank you!

In this season of Thanksgiving, we would like to take a moment to express our appreciation to you and for your support and encouragement to the ministry of D’Avenue Life Encounters (DALE). We pray that your vision and mission will not lack support and provisions, in Jesus’ name.

“Oh, give thanks to the LORD” —–Psalms 105:1

While driving from one end of the city to the other sometime ago, I suddenly busted out loud, saying “Father, I thank you for my car”. There is so much attached to that simple one line statement of gratitude. No matter what we have or don’t have; no matter what is happening or not happening, there is always something to thank God for when we decide to look inward and deeply. Most often we take godly granted privileges’ for granted for whatever reasons.

But, we are instructed to “Always give thanks to God the father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Eph.5:20).  “And giving thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thes.5:18).

Therefore for everything and in everything , we must give thanks for  we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him , who have been called according to his purpose( Romans 8:28).

Are you short of what to thank God for? Try to recall some of the reasons below and express your gratitude to God. You will not only serve God with His due honor, but you will also rekindle your hope and expectation.

Let us conclude with the injunction given in Hebrew 13:15 ”Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God that is the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.”
