Who knows, as the year 2016 is rounding up with barely 3 days left, someone out there may find an encouragement in article that I previously shared back in 2012.
Happy (blessed, fortunate, enviable) is he who has the God of [special revelation to] Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God, [Psalm 146:5 AMP}
Most of us have faced difficult times in life. Yet, God has remained faithful through it all. No matter what we may faced or may be facing right now, His purpose and plan for our lives always come through in the end. (Coming to mind are people like Joseph, Esther and Ruth ,oh my favorites !) Bad or difficult times are inevitable but God uses the bad circumstances to produce hope. That was why Job declared,
“For there is hope for a tree if it is cut down, that it will sprout again and that the tender shoots of it will not cease. [But there is no such hope for man.] Though its roots grow old in the earth and its stock dies in the ground, Yet through the scent [and breathing] of water [the stump of the tree] will bud and bring forth boughs like a young plant.”(Job 14: 7-9 AMP)
No matter what you have gone through or may be going through, oh, yeah! It is a going through not your destination. So go through with determination of coming out and you will definitely come out.
Is your going through meant to be a waste of time, nope! It is actually a developing and a disciplining process. It affords you the opportunity to encourage someone facing similar challenge right now or later on. It is now a designated moment to show someone that God is the only source of hope in despair and through Him we triumph. (James 1:2-4)
May I tell someone this morning, what God is telling you ;
“Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. “(Joshua 1:9 AMP)
The implication of this is that God sees you where you are and His plans are to lead and bring you through into a designated place. So it is time to look up and not down, for there is a hope…
You can simply pray the prayer below:
Father, I thank you for the things I have gone through in life, that has prepared me to be an agent of hope to many lives. Divinely connect me every day of my life with someone who needs to hear Your words of encouragement and hope. I eagerly look forward to all that You have purpose to do through my mess to deliver a message of hope to someone out there who is hurting right now. Father, I thank you for bringing me out of mess and showing me mercy. I praise You for the demonstration of Your sovereignty in my life. Father, as You bring me in contact with those who are in need of hope, please give me the courage to share my failures , trials and triumph, so that You may release hope in someone else going through trials in Jesus name. #Hope in Despair
